1. Code of Conduct

1.1 Purpose

This Code of Conduct sets out the standards expected from Ascendia Prime, our team, publishers, affiliates, advertisers, agencies, media buyers, suppliers and partners.

Ascendia Prime’s business is built on trust, transparency, performance and long-term relationships. We expect all parties to operate responsibly, ethically and professionally.

1.2 Core Principles

All partners must act with:

  • Integrity.
  • Transparency.
  • Legal compliance.
  • Respect for consumers.
  • Respect for privacy.
  • Brand safety.
  • Commercial honesty.
  • Accountability.
  • Professional communication.
  • Zero tolerance for fraud or exploitation.

1.3 Compliance With Laws and Regulations

Partners must comply with all applicable laws, rules and regulations, including those relating to:

  • Advertising and marketing.
  • Affiliate disclosure.
  • Consumer protection.
  • Data protection and privacy.
  • Cookies and electronic communications.
  • Anti-spam rules.
  • Intellectual property.
  • Competition law.
  • Anti-bribery and corruption.
  • Modern slavery and human trafficking.
  • Sanctions and restricted territories.
  • Sector-specific rules for sensitive verticals.

1.4 Affiliate Disclosure and Transparency

Affiliate marketing must be clearly identifiable as advertising where required.

Publishers, influencers, content creators and media partners must clearly disclose commercial relationships, affiliate links, sponsored content, paid placements, incentivised content or commission-based recommendations.

Disclosures must be clear, prominent and understandable to the audience. They must not be hidden, ambiguous or placed where users are unlikely to see them.

1.5 Prohibited Marketing Practices

The following are prohibited unless expressly approved in writing:

  • Cookie stuffing.
  • Forced clicks.
  • Click injection.
  • Hidden iframes.
  • Misleading redirects.
  • Fake reviews.
  • Misleading claims.
  • Unauthorised brand bidding.
  • Unauthorised use of advertiser trademarks.
  • Domain spoofing.
  • Adware, malware, spyware or intrusive software.
  • Misleading voucher or coupon activity.
  • Expired or false discount codes.
  • Unapproved incentivised traffic.
  • Unapproved email marketing.
  • Spam.
  • Misleading social media posts.
  • Cloaking.
  • Bot traffic.
  • Artificial clicks or impressions.
  • Use of stolen, scraped or unlawfully obtained data.
  • Any activity designed to manipulate tracking, attribution or commission payments.

1.6 Traffic Quality

Partners must generate traffic honestly and transparently.

Traffic should come from approved sources and comply with advertiser terms. Ascendia Prime may request details of traffic sources, placements, targeting methods, promotional content and campaign activity.

Partners must not conceal material information about how traffic is generated.

1.7 Brand Safety

Partners must not place advertiser content near or within material that is:

  • Illegal.
  • Hateful.
  • Violent.
  • Sexually explicit.
  • Misleading.
  • Discriminatory.
  • Defamatory.
  • Exploitative.
  • Harmful to children.
  • Associated with fraud, piracy or malware.
  • Otherwise damaging to the advertiser’s brand or Ascendia Prime.

1.8 Sensitive Categories

Some sectors require additional care, including:

  • Financial services.
  • Health, wellness and supplements.
  • CBD.
  • Gambling.
  • Alcohol.
  • Cryptocurrency.
  • Political content.
  • Adult-related content.
  • Products subject to age restrictions.
  • Prescription or regulated products.

Partners must not promote sensitive categories unless specifically approved and must comply with all applicable laws, platform policies and advertiser requirements.

1.9 Data Protection and Cookies

Partners must process personal data lawfully and transparently.

Where cookies, pixels, tags or similar technologies are used, partners must ensure appropriate notices and consent mechanisms are in place where required.

Partners must not use Ascendia Prime campaigns to collect, enrich, resell or misuse personal data without permission.

1.10 Creative and Claims

All marketing content must be accurate, fair and capable of substantiation.

Partners must not make claims about products, prices, results, availability, health benefits, earnings, guarantees or endorsements unless those claims are approved and supported by evidence.

1.11 Use of AI

Where artificial intelligence is used to create marketing content, partners remain fully responsible for accuracy, transparency, compliance and brand safety.

AI must not be used to create deceptive endorsements, fake testimonials, false scarcity, misleading claims, impersonation or content that could mislead consumers.

1.12 Confidentiality

Partners may receive confidential information about Ascendia Prime, advertisers, publishers, rates, commissions, commercial terms, strategy, technology or campaign performance.

Confidential information must not be disclosed, copied, misused or shared without permission.

1.13 Conflicts of Interest

Partners must disclose any actual or potential conflict of interest that may affect campaign integrity, impartiality, reporting, approval decisions or commercial relationships.

1.14 Anti-Bribery and Corruption

Partners must not offer, request, give or receive bribes, kickbacks, improper payments, gifts or benefits intended to influence a business decision.

1.15 Modern Slavery and Ethical Labour

Partners must not engage in forced labour, child labour, human trafficking, exploitation or unsafe working practices.

Ascendia Prime may terminate relationships where credible modern slavery or labour abuse concerns arise.

1.16 Monitoring and Enforcement

Ascendia Prime may monitor partner activity, review traffic quality, audit campaign behaviour and investigate suspected breaches.

Where a breach occurs, Ascendia Prime may:

  • Request correction.
  • Withhold or reverse commissions.
  • Suspend activity.
  • Remove a partner from a campaign.
  • Terminate the relationship.
  • Notify advertisers, networks, platforms or authorities where appropriate.
  • Take legal action where necessary.

1.17 Reporting Concerns

Concerns about misconduct, fraud, brand abuse, misleading advertising, data misuse or policy breaches should be reported to: cs@ascendiaprime.com
